How we work
Before you pay anything, this is what should be clear.
What is included
A 4x4 with a driver-guide and the meals listed on each tour page. Nights, when there are any, are described with the type of lodging. Multi-day tours say whether the vehicle carries emergency oxygen.
What is not included
Entrance and reserve fees, public restrooms (5 to 7 Bs per use where they exist), tips and travel insurance. We do not include insurance; we recommend a policy with medical assistance and repatriation at altitude.
Fees in Bs, in cash
Paid in bolivianos, on the spot. The amounts on each tour page are indicative and may change. Bring enough cash before leaving Uyuni.
Groups
Shared tours leave with a full vehicle, 5 to 6 people depending on the tour. If you would rather not share, private formats exist.
Languages
Driver-guide in Spanish. English-speaking guide for an extra charge on most tours; on Uyuni Luxe the driver-guide can be in Spanish or English.
